Want more details? Here are the Full Results for MO vs SEM

Seminole is a competitive team with some strong swimmers.  Great job to all our swimmers for giving it their ALL and MO came away with the win!

Important information from Coach Kelly for ALL CITY SWIM MEET!!

Reminder: Tomorrow Sunday July 23rd is warmups at Goodman pool at 5pm.

Warm Ups for competition days

  • Take place at our own pool
  • Time 6:00 - 7:00am
  • Most people leave before 7am to get to the site and find parking.
  • If you are only in the afternoon session you do not need to come to warms ups in the morning unless you would really like to get a swim in.

Tent City

  • This is the area our families will ahng out in during their "off" time of the meet.
  • Bring chairs, blankets, and anything that will make being in the grass as comfortable as possible.
  • Kids tend to run aorund and play games with their buddies by the tents.  Please do not use up all of your energy before your swims.
  • Consider bringing activities or toys that could be shared or played with by you and your teammates

Relays

  • Swimmers will be sorted into their RELAY groups by a coach AT THE TENT.  Do not go to clerk of course unless you have been specifically directed to BY A COACH.
  • All Relays will have a special relay card that will allow them entry into clerk.  NO CARD=NO CLERK
  • Go to the bathroom before going into clerk.
  • If for some reason you are running late or have an emergency please text Coach Kelly at (309)264-8378.  She will be responsible for all of the communications between coaches and families.
  • PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE arrive early or on time.  Most of the stress from the meet is caused by looking for a swimmer in a relay.

Individual Swims

  • Swimmers are responsible for getting themselves to clerk for their individual swims.  Listen for event updates as they are announced in tent city.
  • Coaches will check in and spend time with swimmers in the clerk during the individual portion of the meet.
  • Go to the bathroom before you go into clerk.
  • If you advance to finals you will be competing on Saturday.  If you are unable to swim on Saturday please communicate with Coach Kelly as soon as possible.  She will notify the meet manager so the alternate can be notified in advance.

Apparel

  • We ask that swimmers wear their team suit (if they have one) and cap.  If you do not have a team suit, a blue or black one is fine.  The TEAM CAP is the most important.  We need our swimmers to be identifiable and it certainly doesn't hurt to show your team spirit!  The cap specifically goes a long way in helping us locate and watch swimmers.
  • See Coach Kelly at practice or warm ups if you do not have one!!!
  • Swim shirts and watches CANNOT be worn while the swimmers are competing.

All City Swim

  • We recommend downloading the app All-City Swim before your arrival.  You can find it in your App store under All-City Swim or click here. It contains live staging of events, meet info, heat sheets and results!
  • Their website is also a great place for up to date information regarding parking, site info, traffic and drop off info and spectator information.
  • If this is your first all city swim meet we would highly recommend checking out the website ahead of time.  This meet attracts thousands of swimmers and spectators so its good to know before you go.

Help Us Thank The Coaches!

Our Swim Coaches and Dive Coaches work incredibly hard all Summer to make our kids better athletes and stronger, kinder people. They're so incredibly awesome, that as a team we give them a little something extra at the end of the season as a thank you for all the extra they do.

Over the next week we'll be collecting monetary donations that we'll use to purchase as many gift cards as we can to distribute among the coaching team. If you'd like to donate, we have some digital accounts to dontate to: Venmo or PayPal. (@RobBeuthling for both; use 1975 to verify Venmo)

End of the Season Banquet!

Qdoba will be providing food once again.  There will be some costs (less than $40/family) associated with the banquet.  Drinks and treats will also be provided.
