All-City Food Drive gets coverage from USA Swimming!

This years food drive raised over 169,000 meals for Second Harvest!

A Note from the City …

On behalf of our pool staff, I would like to say Thank You
for the organization and efficient running of the 4 home swim meets this year.
I received a lot of positive feedback from our staff and witnessed two big meets
that were done with plenty of time.  I appreciate the efforts of the Monona Swim
& Dive Club in the running of these meets.  Thanks!

Pool Deck Ettiquette
Parents – Please remember that we are guests on the deck of the Monona Pool.  Parks and Recreation Director, Jake Anderson is very good to our team and it is our job to make him and his guards happy!  This can be easily accomplished by simply following the posted pool rules.  Here are few of the typical ways that we tend to fall down on the job …
  • Food is NOT allowed on the deck! If you simply can not make it through practice without your coffee, soda or snack for your toddler, at least make certain to pick up after yourself!
  • Pets are not allowed on deck! No matter how cute or tiny your new puppy is, please do not bring them on deck.  There are tables near the concessions stand that you can relax at while you wait for your kiddo to finish practice.
  • No bikes on the deck. If you are sending your kids to practice on their bikes, make certain they have a lock.  Bikes absolutely are not allowed on the deck and they also will not be tollerated near the lower lever Community Center entrance.  They need to be placed in the bike rack at the front of the pool.   Monona  is a great place – but it is still not safe to leave your bike unlocked and unattended!
